GTIN prices 2021
At GS1, your company is a member when you subscribe to our services and identification numbers. You pay for registration and then have to pay an annual subscription to continue to use numbers and services. The subscription is invoiced annually. Why do you pay an annual subscripion? Find out here.
GTIN item number
No GTIN numbers (barcodes) may be reused. This means that if you used a GTIN in a barcode for Product A, you must not later use the same GTIN in a barcode for Product B.
When you need GTINs, you pay for the creation itself. In addition, payment for the rest of the calendar year you sign up for. It is calculated as: The annual subscription / 12 x the remaining number of months.
(If you sign up in December, you will also be billed for a subscription for the entire following year).
Example GTIN-13 up to 100,000 barcode numbers: On September 13, your company will purchase a subscription to a GTIN-13 package with 100,000 barcode numbers. At the time of creation, the following is therefore paid: 5,000 + (1,600 / 12 x 3 months) = DKK 5,400.
Example GTIN-13 10 barcode numbers: On May 16, your company will purchase a subscription to a GTIN-13 package with 10 barcode numbers. At the time of creation, the following is therefore paid: 750 + (500/12 x 7 months) = DKK 1,042.
